Negative pressure ambulance isolation chamber

The WMJ-FYC-I Isolation Tank is an ideal temporary solution to rapidly isolate a person or an item which is thought to be contaminated by infectious particles or diseases, before moving them to an isolated area for safe treatment. The isolation chamber is equipped with its own negative pressure filtration system to provide maximum protection and operational safety for both the contaminated person or item and the operational team.

Description:

The  Isolation Chamber assembles and is ready for use within seconds. The unit can operate on workshop or laboratory floors as a stand-alone unit, or be secured onto aflat surface such as a bed, workbench, trolley or stretcher.

At one end of the chamber is the air inlet and at the other the filtration unit, which draws infectious air from inside the chamber through highly efficient filters that clean the air and pass it to the outside environment. The blower is equipped with a battery back up, which allows the system to be independent of an external power source for up to ten hours (from full charge).

The chamber liner is made from a special nylon foil and strengthened by inserting aluminium poles along each side of the structure. The "all around" zipper system allows for the chamber to open completely giving easy operator accessibility.

The liner has four integrated zipped glove portals at each side and two at the air inlet end for internal working access while the chamber is closed (gloves not included). Also integrated into the liner are six small zipped portals used for infusions, catheter equipment etc.

The chamber is equipped with four external and internal securing belts and when not in use the system can easily be dismantled and folded for compact storage.
